We have a number of initiatives to support the development of our organisation. There are four ways you can now help support Globe:
- you donate an artwork for our auction
- you can take part in our forthcoming auction
- you can invest your time, materials, advice, etc. and receive a certificate
- you can purchase a certificate online

Auction Room - 14th October to 2nd December 2011
 Douglas Gordon, Untitled If you would like to donate a piece for our auction, please click here | We are holding an auction as part of our major fundraising drive towards the continuation and development of Globe in our new Newcastle City Centre premises. We have been at the forefront of contemporary art in the North East for more than seventeen years and have been an Arts Council RFO for the past six years but were unfortunately not awarded NPO status this year. The auction aims to ensure we build on our unique offer to audiences and participants across the North East of England. We are pleased that we have already received donations in support of our organisation from artists including Douglas Gordon, Mike Nelson, Fiona Banner, Jane and Louise Wilson, Franko B, Mark Fairnington, Stefan Gec and many other artists. We are therefore asking artists and arts organisations to donate an art work for our auction. The Auction Room is open now. It is one of three shows to relaunch our new space (see current for more info). You can also bid online. There will be a live auction on the evening of 2nd December 2011 that should make for an exciting event. |
Investors in Globe certificates
As part of our fundraising activities for our new gallery in Blandford Square, we are asking people to invest in our organisation. You can invest in any way you feel is most appropriate from your time, your skills, donating materials or equipment, or cash. In return for your investment, you will receive one of our specially designed, limited edition 'Investor Certificates'. We have seven unique certificates designed by artists who have committed to supporting our fundraising efforts to commemorate your investment. Each certificate is an edition of 150 and all are signed and debossed with a 'Globe Gallery' seal. Certificates have been kindly designed by the following artists:
