Hi, tell us a little about yourself!
I am a semi-retired (?) Civil Engineer who for a change crossed to the dark side which is the art world.
How long have you been volunteering at Globe?
I signed up at the Gallery opening night in Newcastle on April 15th 2011.
What do you do when you’re not volunteering?
Family, football and enjoying art. That's when I'm not tweeting!!
A good curry, Austria, paddling in the sea and making a difference.
Non-alcoholic beer and traffic lights on roundabouts - they were designed for people to drive around not wait at lights!!
Where would be your dream place to live?
A Greek island, with a boat to visit all the classical Greek sites.
Why would you suggest for other people to volunteer at Globe?
Chance to meet interesting, talented and hard working people - and that's just the other volunteers.
What is your favourite artwork?
The James Cooper abstract art I bought at the Globe Gallery auction.
What is your favorite spot (pub, club, gallery :), hill, etc.) in Newcastle upon Tyne?
My season ticket seat at St James’ Park, especially when singing Blaydon Races with over 50,000 Toon supporters.
