This is a photo taken from a still life project that I did a few years ago now.                                                                                                                                                                         It has cardboard fruits etc. instead of real life objects. It was a great way to recycle cardboard.

Tell us a little about yourself.
Hi, my name is Darren, and I'm the ripe age of 40 years old. I'm a mature student at the moment and I've just completed a Foundation Degree in Applied Arts at Sunderland University and will be returning to Sunderland Uni in September 2011 to study the third year of a BA in Fine Art.

How long have you been volunteering at the Globe?
I've been volunteering at the Globe since last November (2010).

What are your passions and interests?
I'm very passionate about art, whether its contemporary or traditional, and also craft-making. I love studying different artists as well. I love photography. I also love cooking, and love watching comedies, as well as reading, and I love music.

So who should we include on our music list for you then?

I like Lady ga ga, Tori Amos, Moby, Jamiroquai, electronic dance.

And who is your favorite artist?
I like an artist at the moment called Stuart Pearson Wright, who paints figuratively with a twist of humor, I also like artists such as David Hockney, Tracey Emin because she is personal with her work and I like contemporary installations.

Like to exercise and practice yoga, (its good for the soul). Creativity. World Peace. Green issues. Humor. Being social. Fashion. Music. A delicious yummy pudding.

War. Long dark days. Waste. Queues.

What would make you happy?
To be able to drive, to have a lovely holiday in the Caribbean, somewhere hot and beautiful.

Knowing you we are certain you will have spending holidays in Caribbean!!
