Hello Hannah, tell us a little bit about yourself….

My name is Hannah and I am a volunteer with the Globe.

I like many things, including the gallery and all they do with the local community.

I am also interested in writing, and making things like invisible friends for anyone who will have them.

Invisible friends – you got me really curious! Could you tell me more about them?

I make little envelopes and inside are short descriptions of characters, sometimes with a drawing- but only the person who reads it will know how they look. They are for people who are lonely or don’t have enough invisible friends.

Vinvolved programme is about getting to know your local community, and getting involved with the people and places you find there. Tell us about some of the V @ Globe initiatives and projects that have been inspired by this aim…

I am also volunteering with An English Language Conversation Group and for a local group who put on dramatic readings and performances of new and old writing.

We love books, from ‘The Very Hungry Caterpiller’ to ‘Art at the turn of the Millenium’. What is the last book you read, and why should we read it?

Slapstick by Kurt Vonnegut – It would make anybody smile.

Pencil or Pen?

Pen – mistakes can be as interesting as anything-so no need to erase them.

And finally, what are your plans for the future?

I would like to be a little more involved in the gallery and work on new projects/events.

Thank you Hannah! It was interesting to hear your answers!
