I have going through our visitor comments on Gareth’s film and would like to share some of them with you *
BEAUTIFUL PHOTOGRAPHY AND IMAGES.
Very embracing work- awe- inspiring!
Beautifull – whimsical- dreamlike
I enjoyed the various experience of not knowing whether the visual I was watching was very slow, or incredibly fast.
Superbly considered work… and I was only here 5 minutes!!
So, so, so many questions rushed through my mind when I was watching.Questions that would probably never be answered.
Absolutely beautiful shots – particularly enjoyed the scene where the cable car was contrasted with the bird’s eye view of the rural landscape. I’m feeling very, very inspired.
Emptiness , hope , foreboding , cyclic , destruction , life , universe , acceptance, the point of pointlessness .
Emotional. Fantastic transitions / light. Amazing work. Sound was excellent.
I loved the way this work made me feel paradoxically huge and tiny at the same time. It’s hard to comment about something so ethereal and omnipresent in its nature, ‘beautiful’ isn’t enough to describe it. Thank you!
Really enjoyed it. Thank you. X
Nothing I have ever seen before, beautiful comparisons & differences between cultures.
Thank you. X
Thank you ! I think I’ve just heard colours for the first time !
NO IDEA HOW COULD I WAS IN THERE – IN A GOOD WAY !
Thoroughly enjoyable. Better than a trip to the Tyneside Cinema.
Really enjoyed the piece, the whole experience is hypnotic.
I forgot all about the outside world and for these 47 mins, what I could and hear was all that mattered to me ! Superb–great images ; awesome sound.
Brilliant and beautiful and moving. Hypnotic.
Best thing seen o-this afternoon of exhibition visits – I am not surprised Gareth!
An extraordinary piece of work, both from a technical and compositional point of view and in terms of the sheer beauty of the images / sounds.
Amazing video and images, beautiful and interesting the subject about how different we are even though we come from the same point. Amazing when you could make feel something to the public. Keep this way because is wonderful.
Intensely beautiful piece of video work.
TOO MUCH TO SAY IN ONE COMMENT.DEFINITELY NEED TO THINK MORE ABOUT IT ALL. X 3 WATCHES!
Really happy I came to see this with enough time to see the full film.
I loved the music: especially during shots of ‘planets’ in slow motion.
I would like to come and watch again, loved the images so much.
First time at Globe gallery.
Loved the flickering between the images. Just enough slow motion to really bring the image to life.
One of the most amazing things I’ve seen. Took me into another place and back again.
Loved it all. Xxx
THIS FILM IS ASTONISHING!
I LOVED THE PACING OF THE SHOTS AND HOW THE FLICKERING OF 2 DIFFERENT ‘WORLDS’ CONNECTED THEM AND THINGS AND PEOPLE WERE ABLE TO MOVE WITHIN ANOTHER PLACE AND BETCOME INTERWOVEN.
THE SOUNDTRACK IS SUPERB AND REALLY DRAWS YOU IN TO THE
FILM AND HOLDS YOUR GAZE. I WILL BE BACK TO WATCH AGAIN.
