Our volunteering programme is different and exciting.  It aims to give everyone the opportunity to get involved in contemporary art. We offer:

• volunteering
• graduate internships
• work placements
• student placements

Our opportunities are open to people of any age and from any background.

All our opportunities focus on contemporary art as a means of stimulating social awareness, creativity and encouraging people's professional or personal development - it aims to help people learn and develop.  Our approach is welcoming and flexible.

We have clear structures and processes in place that conform to the IIV quality standard.  This gives everyone the opportunity to decide how they want to develop whilst volunteering at Globe and creates a way of checking and recording progress.

This process means you will:

• devise a training plan and record your new achievements
  
• have a profile page on our website
• monitor your experiences and discuss progress regularly
  
• have a closing out session when you finish volunteering at Globe
  
• receive a Volunteering Certificate (when you complete a part or full-time opportunity)

We believe that our volunteering opportunities encourage a positive sense of citizenship and creativity as well as providing worthwhile experience in the cultural sector.
