Marden Highschool Workshop

15th July 2008

A day of workshops exploring Swan Hunters and the environment around Marden Highschool to introduce the children to the concepts of industrial decline and renewing derelict areas using wild flower seed bombs.

The day was entirely led by volunteers who set up interviews with Swan Hunter’s staff, a wild flower walk-around Swan Hunters, seed bombing in and around Marden Highschool and some classroom based drawing and painting.

The volunteers gained great experience of planning, supervising young children and working to tight deadlines.
